Mise-en-scene: Costume: In this scene from 'The 400 Blows,' Antoine Doinel is wearing a black coat, black trousers and a white shirt.  At the beginning of the scene, he is playing football at school, where all of the other boys are wearing a black coat, black trousers and a white shirt, showing how this may be their uniform when they are playing football.  By having all the characters in this scene wearing the same clothing it represents how Antoine belongs to something, yet as he is running away signifies how he wants to break away from it, perhaps as he wants to be his own person and break away from the connotations with being a young person as throughout the rest of the film he is labelled as a 'no good' boy who sets out to cause trouble.  Makeup: Neutral makeup is worn in this scene.  Props: In this scene, there are numerous road signs as Antoine is running away, perhaps being a representation of him getting further and further away....

Post 21- Working from a script - 2 - Casting and characters

In the script for Narnia, these are our list of characters: Mr Beaver Mr Beaver is a comical character, however he also plays a crucial role in telling the Pevensie children that they play a crucial role in killing the Ice Queen and that Aslan is waiting for them. He seems to be the eyes and the ears of Narnia although no one expects it. Mr Tumnus and Mr Beaver seem to be close aquanitances as he gave Mr beaver the handerchief before he got taken.  Mrs Beaver Mrs Beaver is also a comical character. She plays a 'typical' 'old fashioned' female as when the children arrive she tells them that she hasnt had time to do her fur, and to "excuse the mess" as if it is her job to tidy the house. She is also the one to tell the children that they are the two sons of Adam and the two daughters of Eve.  Lucy Pevensie  Lucy Pevensie is the youngest out of the children. This is our script that we were given on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. As soon as we were given this, we started off by reading the script through and brainstorming any ideas in which we might have to make this short film come together.
